300 kilo coke in Rotterdamse haven onderschept

Door een samenwerking van opsporingsdiensten is 300 kilo cocaïne in de Rotterdamse haven onderschept.

Het ging om een actie van de nationale recherche, het zogenoemde HARC-team van de FIOD-ECD en de douane.
De drugs komen volgens het landelijk parket van het Openbaar Ministerie (OM) uit Zuid-Amerika en hebben een waarde van ongeveer 9 miljoen euro.

De partij zat in zes plunjebalen verpakt en werd vorige week maandag ontdekt in een zeecontainer met koffie.
Deze container bevond zich aan boord van een vrachtschip met bestemming Antwerpen.
